- As a Facilities Technician B, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades such as mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Your duties will include performing trades work, conducting routine inspections, using blueprints and specifications, supporting facilities moves and installations, and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
- Maintenance and repair of facility structures, equipment, and grounds.
- Performing trades work (carpentry, painting, etc.).
- Conducting routine inspections to identify repair and maintenance needs.
- Supporting facilities moves and overseeing contractor activities.
- Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate's Degree with 2 years of related experience
- Proficiency in basic electrical maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and other trades
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with 2 years of related experience
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
