Provides coordinated skilled nursing care to residents.

Demonstrates accountability and responsibility in collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve patient goals and maintain high quality patient care.

Performs in accordance with physician's orders and under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Services
Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our Facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Unit Manager to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times
Provide direct nursing care to the residents
Monitor the performance of CNAs, nursing and non-licensed personnel
Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and a minimum of one or more years of long term care or in-patient setting.

Demonstrates the ability to make appropriate judgments based on sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and elements of patient teaching.

Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC). Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality with regard to patient, staff and agency information. Demonstrates an interest in working with a senior population. Ability to establish an effective working relationship with all departments and the community. Health & Dental Insurance
