    The Job A Senior Project Manager in the concrete division at CL Construction leads the success of the Concrete Team, and must be focused, driven, motivated and have the ability to understand the full scope of each project.


    • Lead. Be prepared to plan and develop all aspects of large concrete projects from start to finish.
    • Communicate. Share the status, challenges, budgets, successes, and opportunities with those who need to know.
    • Develop. People, plans, schedules, budgets, you will make it all and make it all work together.
    • Live and breathe safety. We go home to our families in the same condition we left our families every day.
    • Collaborate. Positive, encouraging environments lead to successful projects, teams, and companies.
    • Compliance. Know and follow local codes, regulations, customer specifications and safety standards.
    • Be the One. You are the point of contact, know your project - resources, budget, progress, challenges & every other aspect.
    The Knowledge & Skill This position has a multitude of moving pieces every day. Sr.

    PMs must be detail oriented, organized, communicate effectively; in addition, they must coach and develop others to do the same.

    Industry experience, and 5-7 years of proven successful construction project management are appropriate for this role.

    • Know Concrete. The techniques, materials, industry best practices, and how they impact each project.
    • Anticipate challenges, problem solve, make good decisions, & leverage strengths on your Team.
    • Education. Bachelor's degree in construction management would be great, but it's not required.
    • Lead all the time. By example, in actions and words, through collaboration, coaching and work ethic.
    • Use Technology. Computers, phones, software, all the tools to help with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Keep your cool. Problem-solve and make good decisions even in high-pressure situations.
    • Have a TEAM, train, develop, coach, encourage, discipline, and motivate everyone.
    • Have a valid driver's license, the be willing and able to travel to project sites as needed.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old.
    The Pay Individual knowledge and qualifications will have an impact on the starting salary. Construction industry and concrete experience as well as previous project management and leadership opportunities may increase starting pay.

    • Pay range starts at $100,000 annually.
    • Increased starting pay available based on qualifications and experience.
    • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
