Duration: 3 months - possible extension depending on budget
Pay: $20-$24 hourly
Location: Onsite in North Chicago, IL

Job Description:

• Support internal customers in coordinating the inbound and outbound shipment process.
• Ensure that all related documentation and record keeping is compliant with U.S. Import & Export Regulations.
• Knowledge of import/export logistics, international freight forwarding, and use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
• Knowledge in Creating Porforma Invoices, Classifying commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B, Maintaining updated FDA and Other Agency data, NAFTA Certificates of Origin, Filing Shipper's Export Declarations
• Maintain Inbound/Outbound Shipment Log and Filing System, Shipment Tracking and Follow Up, Logistics Coordinating/Assistance, Compliance/Audit, Audit Customs Brokerage Invoices, SOP Creation and Auditing.

Qualifications:

• Export / import Customs experience
• Data analytics; Excel skills
• Detail oriented; Team player
