    Roles & Responsibilities:
    Develop and apply advanced control technologies to gas/steam turbine applications

    Collaborate with design engineers of various disciplines to surface control system requirements and drive equipment requirements for controllability

    Write, test, and develop requirements for turbine application code

    Be accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, risk mitigation, and customer deliverables

    Lead factory and software acceptance tests with customers

    Support Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of field problems

    Handle multiple projects / activities with risk mitigation

    Review and interpret customer specifications.

    Required Skills (Technical Competency):

    BS/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college

    12+ years of experience in power generation Controls Engineering

    Proficient with design engineering of Mechanical/Electrical Accessories and Controls System.

    Experience with Mark VI, Mark VIe and Cimplicity and other Controls system like Ovation, Allan Bradley, etc is desirable.

    Experience with power plant operations, root cause analysis, customer communication technical resolution of field problems

    Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
    Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

    Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

    Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

    Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

    Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

    Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.

    Travel 10% (Domestic and International)
