- Job Summary
- Under the general direction of the Office Manager, the Occupational Therapist directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides occupational therapy services to patients in the home as prescribed by the physician, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance; facilitates the learning of those skills to promote functional independence. Required to follow the State Practice Act KRS.319A. Demonstrates a commitment to professional accountability and growth to maintain and expand knowledge and skills. Contributes to the mission and philosophy of the Organization. Contributes to the effective operation of the Organization by demonstrating dependability in job performance. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
- Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
- Works in a well-lighted, ventilated and air conditioned area when in the office. Schedule may consist of weekends, holidays and shift work. Excellent observation, communication, and problem solving skills required.

Description
Must be licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and organization requirements and is in good working order.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years exposure of institutional experience.
EQUIPMENT USED/
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Competent in any required OT devices for patient use.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and Kentucky Occupational Therapy Licensure. CPR required within three (3) months of employment. Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
