Senior Accountant

Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

• Prepare journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist with month-end closing of the general ledger and accounts receivable.
• Review financial results and prepare variance analysis and explanations from prior trends and budget.
• Recommend improvements to current processes and ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual covenant reporting.
• Assist with calculation of provider payrolls.

Preferred Experience of Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years' experience in accounting.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
