As a world-renowned VR/AR brand with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, Pico has been at the forefront of the consumer electronic market.

We have teams in Europe, Japan and South Korea. Now we are looking for experts in image pipeline to join us to build our AR/VR imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop a novel imaging/display pipeline for low latency, power efficient and real-time perception and graphics processing in MR system .
• Specify silicon IP specs and feature requirement and work with x-functions team to translate system/components requirement into pipeline requirement
• Develop imaging/display HW algorithm with bit accuracy model and make architecture or design trade-offs between hardware constrain and image quality
• Challenge the algorithm, assumptions and spec to deliver the optimized pipeline architecture.
• Perform quantitative evaluations through the use of modeling, prototyping HWs for validating architecture options.
• Develop innovative solutions to solve issues or enable new system features/technologies.

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of display/imaging pipeline including but limited to ISP, DPU and VPU or its building blocks.
• Experience in image, display or video algorithm IP development and fixed point coding with C/C++.
• Experience of computer architectures, NPU, DSP subsystem is a plus.
• Experience of FPGA platform setup and programing is a plus.
• Open minded and enthusiastic about new technologies and prototyping.
