    About the Position:
    The Data Management Assistant is responsible for reviewing and entering information for Epicor production and engineering functions.
    This individual reviews requests for completeness and accuracy and makes entries as needed.
    Additional tasks as assigned involve Epicor data requests, monitoring dashboard and taking corrective, and Production Engineering activities.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Data Management:
    Coordinate and Monitor Engineering Change Requests

    Epicor Maintenance:
    add and update part records; update part settings.
    Change and correct operations and BOM's using Engineering Workbench.
    Perform weekly Cost Rolls and Cost Rolls as requested.
    Review usage and update MOH's as needed.
    Reconcile Tandem-Epicor Sales Order discrepancies.


    Review and update costs:
    Epicor, Epicor to Tandem, Tandem to Epicor.
    Review and respond to inquiries and requests from Scheduling, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Accounting, and othersCalculate costs for cancelled jobs.
    Prepare Epicor part update files for mass loading.
    Monitor Stock Status Dashboard.
    Review Job vs. Orderline Cost Variance Dashboard.
    Other duties/tasks as assigned and needed.


    Production Engineering Support:
    Distribute orders, and as required, print related documents.
    Follow-up on 'Orders in Engineering' dashboard to assure ERD are current.
    Assist Engineers and follow-up on RFI's.
    Distribute and follow-up with Engineers on PR-174Create and assist Engineers with (FA) First Article and (E) Engineering jobs.
    Follow-up on Engineering Quote.
    Generate and distribute engineering Performance reports.


    Product Design and Development Support:
    Create, update, and close NPD orders as requested by Engineers.
    Follow-up on NPD and Custom Application orders with responsible NPD Engineers.


    Research and Development:
    Create, update, and close PTC and R&D jobs as requested by Engineers.
    Follow-up with responsible R&D Engineers on open jobs.


    Technology Group:
    Create, update, and close configurator jobs as requested by Engineers.
    Follow-up with responsible Engineers on Configurator Development jobs.


    Qualification Requirements:
    Experience with MRP/ERP systems, such as Epicor/SAP, preferred.
    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
    An understanding of the glazing, architectural, and railing industry, preferred.
    CRL experience, a plus.
    Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.
    Good communication aptitude.
    Great attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently.
    Minimum High School diploma/GED completion, required.
