Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage the PRN Athletic Trainer pool, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, compliance, and optimizing policies and procedures.
- Assess partner coverage needs, coordinate athletic trainer assignments, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding event plans and processes.
- Provide athletic training coverage as needed (approximately 10%).
- Oversee invoicing and manage purchase, distribution, and inventory of medical supplies for events.
- Track and maintain records of events, inquiries, referrals, promotional inventory, and ROI metrics for outreach activities.
- Build and strengthen relationships with sports organizations, healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote brand awareness and service line expertise.
- Maintain formal and informal partnerships through regular engagement, fulfillment of deliverables, tours, introductions, and fostering continued growth.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for events, presentations, and activations to achieve referral and outreach goals.
- Represent Scottish Rite and sports medicine programs in sponsorship activations and outreach initiatives; organize and execute activations with appropriate resources and logistics.
- Collaborate with the Sports Medicine Outreach Manager and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Deliver or facilitate clinical, educational, and promotional presentations to diverse audiences, including athletes, coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure outreach materials (digital, print, web) are accurate, brand-compliant, and audience-appropriate; assist with development of new collateral and email campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in an athletic training program or related field with a minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- 1-2 years management and leadership experience preferred.
- Athletic Trainer license in the state of Texas required.
- Current BLS Provider certification required.
- Certification through the Athletic Trainers Board of Certification, Inc. required.
