Job summary:

Process rubber compounds within critical engineered process controls to meet or exceed all quality & production standards in accordance with standard routing, work instructions & directions, in a "Copy Exact" manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up & finish trim parts on appropriate equipment, including knife, trimmer, buffer, air mac, open trim, knife trim, lathe, etc.

• Load & unload ovens

• Final inspection of parts using gauges, micrometers, scales and other measuring devices

• In process trim & inspection as required (line pull)

• Perform rework of part as necessary

• Rinse & bag pars as required

• Transport work & finished goods in process within & between departments

• Follow all SPC procedures and record daily activities in accordance with work procedures

Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a Clean Room environment desired

• Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring occasional pulling, twisting, & reaching necessary

• Must be able to read work instructions, work orders & written instructions

• Must be able to electronically perform SAP transactions such as labor & material usage in a timely & accurate manner

• Ability to Metrology equipment
