Description
Attend to members/guests needs in the Men's Locker Room from arrival until their stay is completed.
Understand member preference. Build relationships that are built on professionalism, integrity, and service.
Engage with members/guest in a friendly manner and greet members by name.
Take food and drink orders from members/guest accurately and with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Help members/guest select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, answering food preparation questions
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake preferred.
Efficiently charge member's accounts for food, drinks, and other amenities.
Make coffee/tea and stock beverage station.
Perform opening and closing duties in the locker room area.
Ensuring that the Locker Rooms are kept in pristine condition.
Inspects locker area to ensure proper appearance, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
Enforces established rules, regulations, and club policies.
Assigns lockers for guests during tournaments.
Maintain and manage locker room amenities (sauna, steam room, spa, showers, etc.).
Clean and polish, re-spike, maintain shoes.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to work long hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to remain on feet the majority of the workday.
Previous experience in Mens Locker Rooms or hospitality industry preferred.
+ Have 2+years of serving or related experience in Locker Rooms or full service restaurant.
+ Have a current food handlers card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law.
+ Meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
+ Have basic knowledge of food and beverage service, locker room or hospitality.
