Job summary
The incumbent is responsible for providing direct health care services for electrophysiology (EP) patients.The EP NP performs these functions in accordance with the Standardized Procedures approved by the Mercy General Hospital Committees for Credentials, Interdisciplinary Practice, and Cardiology.
The position provides services to streamline and expedite the flow of patients having electrophysiology procedures,
- Entering pre/post procedure orders
- Facilitating/triaging/consulting transfer patients being evaluated for potential procedure
- Collaborating with cardiac electrophysiologists on new consults and existing patient treatment plans
