    Description

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Houston, TX

    • Position Type: Full-Time, Contract
    • Start Date: August 2024

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals within the classroom and other educational settings.
    • Assist in monitoring and documenting students' progress, under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
    • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
    • Receive mentorship and supervision from a licensed SLP to support professional growth and development.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as required by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Valid Texas intern license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Dedication to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
