    Job Title: Procurement Associate

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Associate to join our team at Batteries Plus in Lancaster, PA. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for placing routine purchase orders, procuring products, and facilitating the fulfillment process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Purchasing Responsibilities:
      • Place routine purchase orders to vendors within purchasing schedules
      • Procure product for special orders and facilitate the fulfillment process
      • Maintain open purchase orders and work to manage and fulfill backorders
      • Provide remote purchasing and receiving support for store locations
      • Place routine store-to-store product transfers
      • Assist with setting up new parts in company inventory/POS system
    • Administrative Responsibilities:
      • Accounts payable vouchering and reconciliation reports
      • Routine customer order entries
      • Place employee uniform purchase orders
      • Sourcing and purchasing store supply orders
      • Varying report processing related to purchasing, inventory, taxes, etc.
      • Special program assistant for environmental rebates
    • Requirements:
      • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
      • High school diploma required; associates degree or 2+ years of related experience preferred
      • Proficient multitasking abilities, effective prioritization, and follow-up capabilities
      • Ability to perform simple math calculations (addition, multiplication, percentages)
      • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines
      • Expert knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Gmail, and other business software applications
      • Possession of a valid driver's license

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Competitive Salary: Up to $22.50 per hour based on experience
    • Full-time hours, 40 hours per week
