As a GitLab SME, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation, utilization, and optimization of GitLab's suite of tools and capabilities to our DOG customer.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall software development process.Top Secret Security Clearance is required to qualify for this position (US CITIZENS) Primary work location is Telework (remote), and 1-day per month of onsite support at the at the customer site located in Chantilly, VA.
Full-time / W(2) Employment with Trilogy Innovations, Inc.As a dedicated certified GitLab Professional Services Engineer, you will work to develop and execute technical and strategic guidance for maximizing the division's GitLab investment.
Furthermore, the Government seeks the knowledge transfer to existing development staff to capitalize on its investments.Additionally, this role requires commitment to becoming a GitLab Professional Services Engineer, which requires 6 GitLab Certifications before starting this project.
Trilogy Innovations will pay for all certifications before and after hiring for this position.Prerequisite to the PSE Certification include 6 underlying certifications:
Role Qualifications:
Top Secret Security Clearance (active) with SCI eligibility Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.Proven experience as a GitLab SME or similar role, with a strong track record of successful GitLab implementation and optimization.
Deep understanding of GitLab's features, functionalities, and integrations. Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Qualified applicants will either be a Certified GitLab Professional Services Engineer (PSE); or at least one of the following certifications from GitLab (listed below)
