- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia plans for patients.
- Provide pre-operative consultations to assess patient medical history and determine appropriate anesthesia options.
- Manage post-operative pain and monitor patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of anesthesia administration and patient care.
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
- Active IA Medical License, highly preferred.
- Experience in cardiac anesthesia preferred.
- Proficiency in a wide range of anesthesia procedures, including but not limited to:
- General Surgical Cases (adult and pediatric)
- Minor Nerve Blocks
- IV Regional Anesthesia
- Plexus Anesthesia
- Spinal Anesthesia
- Regional Anesthesia
- Neurosurgical Cases
- Local Infiltration
- PICC Lines
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
