    Description


    This position will be a 6-month contract to hire and is looking for someone who is willing to work onsite.

    This position requires US citizenship and a candidate that is fully vaccinated.


    Duties:
    Responsible for observing all work performed by the supplier(s), as authorized by the client.
    Coordinate resolution of all quality issues, including assurance of supplier adherence to requirements from military specifications and vendor drawings.
    Provide work release authorization (WRA) for timely delivery of all critical components identified by the client.

    Provide reports to client designated points of contact to discuss requirements, resolve problems and keep informed of changes to existing requirements and/or schedulesWork will be performed under general supervision while exercising considerable latitude for independent actions within the client policies, practices, and procedures.

    Develop training and documentation materials for production to enable the seamless knowledge transfer of manufacturing processes.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering) or related field.
    Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, production documents and specifications.
    Understanding of material specifications, manufacturing techniques, and inspections techniques, used for common manufacturing materials and components.
    Broad technical knowledge with experience in an electronics assembly and ISO9001 or similar environment.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Ability to travel to multiple client suppliers.
