    Team Leader Durham , North Carolina Description

    The Team Leader will be responsible for the personnel and product in their team. They will handle personnel training, quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives in their area. Product and personnel status will be measured and reported on to the production supervisor. The Team Lead are responsible to monitor and manage the completion of shop orders and operations as determined by the part number routing, ensuring operations are complete on time and at or under the allotted man hours. They actively review that their teams are in safe working order identifying areas of improvement. They also review quality data to ensure that manufacturing quality is improving and that the MoM and work instructions are updated to reflect corrective actions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently

    Able to properly manage time and projects

    Ability to meet project schedules and maintain contingency plans

    Understand workflows in production and prioritize work

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    Proficient in computers and software

    Understands how to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

    Is capable of leading training within the team

    Understands chain of command and where to go to get questions answered

    Use of ERP in a manufacturing environment
