    Description

    General summary:

    Stier Supply Company is actively seeking motivated individuals to join our Picking Team at our Distribution Center. As a Picking Team Member, you will play a crucial role in accurately selecting and preparing merchandise for transport, contributing to the efficiency and success of our warehouse operations

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Accurately locate merchandise within the warehouse based on labels and order tickets.
    • Assist in verifying material and quantities to ensure precision and order accuracy.
    • Select items from shelves and appropriately prepare them for transport.
    • Execute additional assigned duties, including loading, unloading, and receiving tasks as required.

    Position Requirements

    Must have the following:
    • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective teamwork and clear information exchange.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain organized product separation and rotation practices.
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting operational deadlines.
    • Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and climb for extended periods as well as push and pull carts when necessary.
    • Basic literacy in reading, writing, and counting.
    • Keen attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in tasks.
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all posted safety rules.
    • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, and health and physical evaluation.
    • Willingness and availability to work overtime when needed
