    Our Direct client is looking for Principal Enterprise Architect-12 Months Contract-Remote opportunity.

    Job Description:

    As Principal Enterprise Architect - Enterprise you will drive world-class cloud solutions based on the AWS & Azure platform to accelerate the delivery of our customer facing expert solutions and improve the reliability & security of our applications. You will take a lead role in defining and promoting the architecture direction and governance for Cloud strategy and initiatives. You will be challenged to find approaches that enable rapid adoption of new cloud services and drive transformation for our business and IT processes and will act as a liaison and consultant on best practices, principles and processes required to leverage best in class cloud capabilities and technologies. You will need exceptional influencing and reasoning skills, communication skills and the ability to engage with and influence technical teams & executives.

    Performs other duties as assigned by management.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Experience:
    • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in IT, last 6 years in cloud architecture
    • Advanced certifications in both Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
    • Experience in guiding Architecture strategy to align company priorities with technology outcomes and define target state architectures with roadmaps.
    • Deep understanding of Azure and AWS capabilities and best practices.
    • Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations.
    • Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, driving a culture of continuous integration and deployment.
    • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
    • Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model.
    • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and, preferably, strong technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in designing and building service oriented / microservices architectures.
    • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
    • Understand the significant industry shifts taking place in the current landscape, and be able to design forward-thinking, innovative, and impactful solutions.
    • Experience working with external cloud-vendors.
