    Description

    nexAir, LLC is a supplier of high-quality industrial, specialty, medical, and bulk gases, dry ice, welding equipment, welding supplies and medical equipment. The Trainee position is designed to expose trainees through different facets within nexAir's operations at our Plant Facility, Warehouse, Branch locations, and the Corporate Headquarters in Memphis, TN.

    Specific Job Responsibilities:

    • Production Plant:
    • Loading/Unloading of cylinder trucks
    • Working in distribution to efficiently route trucks
    • Working in production to meet customer needs
    • Warehouse:
    • Working with logistics team to supply customers with product
    • Working in retail environment
    • Working in purchasing department
    • Corporate:
    • Work within several departments, including credit, accounting and sales
    • Program lasts approximately 18 to 24 months. Upon completion of program, trainee will be placed in role where that candidate excelled and as determined by business necessity at that time.
    Qualifications:
    • Four year college degree preferred.
    • Ability to learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
    • Must be able to set performance goals and objectives with upper management.
    • Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers.
    • Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
    • Receive training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
    • Attend company-sponsored training classes.
