    Description


    As General Manager, you will create and maintain customer-driven operations with a vision that inspires hotel associates to do their best.

    You will oversee the quality process to ensure guest satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service to achieve the hotel's financial objectives.

    This position requires experience in all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget/forecast management, rooms, housekeeping and maintenance.

    The ideal candidate will be a polished general manager who is a strong leader and can communicate effectively to associates, guests, and ownership.

    Prior General Manager experience is required, with solid rooms operations experience.


    The responsibilities of a General Manager include managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned goals for operational integrity as measured by revenue, house profit, and RevPAR index while maintaining company standards for guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection.

    The General Manager will demonstrate leadership and professional image to associates, guests, sales accounts, local community representatives, vendors, and competitors.


    The General Manager is directly responsible for the success of the housekeeping, front office and food and beverage departments of the property.

    A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service and guest suite cleanliness. The General Manager also handles the purchasing and payroll submission for the property.

    The General Manager will also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates, as well as disciplinary measures.

    A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is a plus. Equivalent experience is acceptable. 1-2 years as Assistant General Manager or other hotel management role.

    A General Manager must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems.

    The General Manager must have effective oral and written communication skills and must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this management position will vary.
