Description COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRY AT JANIAN Janian Medical Care, P.C., seeks a BE/BC psychiatrist for a full time. For over 30 years, Janian has been a leader in developing and implementing person-centered, community-based psychiatric care for New Yorkers with lived experience of homelessness. The psychiatric provider is an integrated member of the multidisciplinary team who works to :

• Identify and engage people in need of psychiatric evaluation and treatment
• Provide psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy
• Support recovery goals
• Advocate for patients
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings with other providers
• Implement population health interventions
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and provide psychiatric evaluations
• Develop and deliver trainings

Requirements 1. Board Certified or Board Eligible provider (physician or nurse practitioner) in good standing, licensed to practice medicine in New York State, with training in psychiatry.

•Experience providing public psychiatric care.
3.
•Committed to servant leadership principles and person-centered care.
4.
•Proficient in the use of electronic medical records.
5.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. 6.
•Has at least 2 years experience providing care in community settings. 7.
•Experience supervising clinicians preferred
