Description
As part of a passionate and accomplished team, you will work at the intersection of program management, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and integrated supply chain within our Lunar Integration and Test (I&T) team.
You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of spacecraft assembly, integration, and test, so relevant experience in those areas is highly desired.
We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for managing the project scope of flight vehicle production for both internal and external customers.This includes developing, managing, and reporting on resource-loaded schedules, production budgets, staffing needs, program risk, and variances to the plan.
You will organize the team by leading our agile management efforts in Jira and Confluence.You will also support major technical efforts such as program reviews and deliverable products by setting clear expectations to meet these milestones and gathering inputs from across the team and creating a final product.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing project leadership in support of Blue Origin's Lunar Program initiatives. This role will follow the product from early concept development, through design reviews, and into production.
Blue Origin is looking for someone to apply their expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Develop and maintain Project Schedule(s) within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Manage hardware status, supporting both internal and external demand
Manage budgets and implementation of capital equipment and facility projects
Collaborate with all departments to access and collect data that informs decision making
Maintain software tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance metrics and other key information
Complete cost-benefit justifications on strategic optimization decisions, including make-buy/where analysis, should-cost modeling, capacity analysis, staffing profiles, capital expenditure analysis, and tracking, and cash flow modeling
Develop standards for and administer the tools for program scheduling, resource planning, cost analysis, and reporting
Collaborate with purchasing and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and production equipment
Reduce and close risks and identify opportunities
Conduct meetings within and across teams, defining clear objectives and actions as an outcome of the discussions
Partner with business office to ensure timely delivery of product to customer
Manage key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areas such as: Budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, production schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or similar), Business Administration, or Operations Management from an accredited college or university.
4+ years of experience in a product leadership role with significant technical project management responsibility and proven technical depth
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite of software (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, etc.
Self-starter comfortable with leading initiatives, tackling problems, and delivering results
Desired:
Experience with launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellite development, production, or operations
Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
Experience driving a product from concept development into production
Self-starter, strong bias for action
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Experience with Primavera (P6), CREO, Windchill, Confluence, Jira, Tableau, SQL, MySQL, Power Query, Power Pivot

Paid Time Off:
