    Our client is a midsized food & beverage company that offers a variety of nutritious and flavorful drinks, snacks, and protein products.

    Description

    • Lead and supervise all accounting functions, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll operations with precision for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Ensure strict compliance with tax laws and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.
    • Prepare timely and precise financial statements and oversee the closing processes.
    • Coordinate annual audits and maintain relationships with external auditors.
    • Establish and maintain internal controls and financial procedures to enhance efficiency.
    • Provide strategic financial analysis and support to the Head of Finance US to facilitate decision-making.
    • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Drive ongoing optimization of accounting processes through innovation and proactive financial management, aligning closely with evolving business requirements.
    • Ensure proper application of accounting and company policies in the US.

    Profile

    • 5+ years of progressive Accounting experience
    • Public Accounting and/or CPA preferred
    • CPG experience a plus
    • Excellent at extracting strategic insights from data to guide business decisions
    • Proactive problem solving skills
    • Collaborative with team members and cross functional stakeholders
    • Able to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for non-finance colleagues
    • Experience in high growth environments, constantly adapting to business needs
