Job summary
We are seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team at Good Shepherd Pet Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment providing excellent customer service and assisting veterinarians in examination rooms.Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of veterinarian-directed care in our treatment areas including wound care, bandaging, nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning, and post-operative follow-up care.
- Provide technical assistance/prepping reference laboratory samples
- Support veterinarians while in the examination room with clients
Must be able to clearly communicate doctor's directives with clients
Able to speak with clients regarding pre and post-surgical instructions,
pateint discharges ,and follow-ups.
