- Evaluar y revisar los cambios propuestos en las instalaciones eléctricas existentes para garantizar su compatibilidad con los estándares y prácticas de sistema de protección establecidos por Eversource.
- Crear nuevos diseños de sistemas de Protección y Control de acuerdo con los Estándares de Eversource según sea necesario.
- Especificar los materiales asociados con los sistemas de Protección y Control nuevos o modificados para los proyectos asignados.
- Desarrollar, calcular y documentar ajustes y lógicas para relés de protección, procesadores lógicos, reconectadores y interruptores necesarios para respaldar proyectos e iniciativas de confiabilidad del sistema de Eversource.
- Realizar estudios de coordinación modelando y analizando elementos del sistema eléctrico y sus sistemas de protección utilizando software de simulación de fallas.
- Analizar las operaciones del sistema de protección durante perturbaciones del sistema de transmisión y distribución en apoyo del análisis de eventos del Grupo Técnico de Subestaciones.
- Interactuar con el Personal de Planificación, Operaciones y Campo de Eversource para apoyar sus esfuerzos en la planificación, operación y mantenimiento del sistema de transmisión y distribución.
- Administrar y realizar actividades laborales con capacitación, orientación y supervisión del personal y la gerencia senior.
- Apoyar activamente asignaciones de restauración de tormentas y/o emergencias.

El trabajo se realiza principalmente en un entorno de oficina que implica estar sentado, de pie, caminar y subir escaleras. El trabajo puede requerir viajar a distritos y empresas operativas dentro y fuera del estado. El trabajo también requerirá viajar a subestaciones eléctricas e instalaciones de generación según sea necesario para inspecciones en sitio y reuniones.
