About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead and grow an outpatient retail pharmacy operation embedded within a health center setting.
This leadership role offers strong work-life balance and the opportunity to collaborate closely with providers and clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
The Pharmacy Manager will oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a key partner to clinic providers and healthcare teams.
Oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing practices
Provide medication counseling and patient education
Manage, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff (pharmacists and technicians)
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain quality assurance, patient safety, and workflow efficiency
Manage inventory, financial performance, and loss prevention
Collaborate with healthcare providers and attend clinical meetings
Support growth initiatives and strategic planning for the pharmacy
Maintain HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse compliance
Qualifications
Required:
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
Active Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania(must be active and in hand)
Minimum 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills
Preferred
340B program knowledge
Immunization certification and vaccination administration experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience developing and implementing pharmacy growth strategies
