Job description
A contract opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support a school setting in Renton, WA.This role requires expertise in delivering specialized speech and language services to students, fostering their communication skills and academic success.
Candidates will work full-time with a caseload of approximately 50 students, providing targeted therapeutic services.Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement effective therapy interventions.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote a comprehensive approach to student care.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations relevant to special education.
Qualifications And Experience
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or license appropriate for school settings.
Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in educational environments with a caseload similar in size and complexity.
Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
Position Details
Location:
Renton, WA
Contract positions, with a start date for Position 1 as soon as possible, and Position 2 beginning at the end of February.
Contract end date:
June 12, 2026
Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload of 50 students
No Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support provided
