    Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

    We are partnering with a property management company seeking a Senior Property Accountant to prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of properties. This role covers financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and collaboration with operations to ensure accurate and timely accounting.

    Job Details
    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
    • Create and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations (prepaids, capex, property taxes, insurance, etc.)
    • Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, management fees, and distribution calculations
    • Assist with property budgets and forecasts
    • Handle treasury tasks including transfers, wires/ACH, and positive pay issues
    • Review accounts payable for accuracy, coding, and approvals
    • Partner with operations to resolve accounting questions and provide financial guidance
    • Support quarterly and annual external audits
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
    • Real estate industry experience/property accounting experience required
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principles
    • Entrata or Yardi software experience is a plus
