    Description

    The Resource is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our client, a commercial printing company in Browns Summit, NC. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive salary of $62,000-$93,000 per year (depending on experience). The position offers a 1st shift schedule and a comprehensive benefits package that includes Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-term Disability, and 401K.

    Job Description:

    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade machines and equipment
    • Set up, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and other control devices
    • Maintain/install electrical equipment and devices in compliance with NEC
    • Maintain air compressors and all pneumatic systems
    • Machine installation and commissioning
    • Design, weld, and fabricate parts and brackets for machines
    • Perform preventive maintenance
    • Safely operate forklift and scissor lift
    • Inspect/maintain machine safety guards and interlocks
    • Perform mechanical adjustments and set up machines
    • Utilize CMMS system for tracking machine downtime and parts usage
    • Undertake other assigned tasks

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent with ten (10) years of related experience
    • Associate's Degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) with eight (8) years of related experience
    • Familiarity with AC/DC drive systems
    • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic test equipment such as multimeters, amp clamps, and oscilloscope
    • Knowledge of PLC code and programming, as well as other automation control devices
    • Experience with Cognex vision system and familiarity with In-Sight Explorer is a plus
