    Description


    We are seeking a Benefits Director to act as the subject matter expert in design and delivery in support of the organization's overall benefits strategy.

    The Benefits Director oversees both the day-to-day administration of our benefit programs as well as the strategic overview of the plans.

    Designs, implements, administers, and evaluates group medical, dental, prescription, disability and life plans for employees of our client. Ensures that the organization remains competitive in the marketplace.

    Required Skills & Experience


    • 10+ years of experience in benefits design and administration with 5 years in a management level position.
    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of employees, management, outside benefits professionals (insurance contacts, TPA, actuaries), legal counsel and regulatory agencies.
    • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present employee information and data accurately and with attention to detail
    • Critical thinker with strong time-management, organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
    • Must be flexible and a strong team player
    • Sound public speaking skills
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Need to be coming from a company with a minimum of 2000 employees.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
