Progressive Dental and Associates, a private dental office, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a family-oriented and doctor-owned practice, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care with a focus on patient satisfaction. Our office follows a patient-focused approach, maintaining an easy flowing schedule and timely appointments. Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleanings, scaling, and root planning
Conduct oral health assessments and aid in develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide relevant oral health information
Administer local anesthesia and place dental sealants as needed
Take dental x-rays and record patient information accurately
Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support if necessary
Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygiene license in Illinois
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene theories, practices, and procedures
Proficient in taking dental x-rays and using dental software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain patient confidentiality
Attention to detail and dedication to providing quality care
A high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions
