Home Instead DeKalb Team is looking to expand its team by adding 1 or 2 Care Professionals. We have a growing need for qualified and passionate individuals.

We offer a variety of benefits that make this company ideal for professional growth. Home Instead specializes in assisting seniors to age gracefully at home, thereby alleviating stress for their family members.

Our care team devises a comprehensive plan to address the daily requirements of our clients. As a Care Professional, you will implement this plan which may involve tasks like light housekeeping, providing companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, assistance with dressing, walking, bathing, toileting, and grooming.

Duties:

Provide care and support to seniors in the community
Assist with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medication reminders as per the care plan
Perform light housekeeping duties and organize living spaces
Assist with meal preparation
Offer transportation for appointments or outings

Requirements:

Experience in Caregiving or a willingness to learn
Preference for Dementia Experience in behavior management
Valid driver's license with a clean record and personal vehicle for commuting to shifts
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality maintenance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hourExpected hours: ~20 hours per week
