A client of Insight Global is seeking to add a Civil Project Engineer to its growing team in Gonzales, LA As a Civil Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in the organization by providing both technical and design service support for water infrastructure and utility projects.

• Provide design and plan production support of civil engineering design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team.
• Conduct preliminary and final engineering evaluations, perform design calculations and assessments, prepare various reports, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications, and prepare permit submittals for civil engineering projects.
• Responsible for various tasks on several concurrent projects and must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned.
• Expected to become familiar and stay current with design requirements for local, state, and federal permit agencies.

Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 6-12 months

• BS Civil Engineering or related
• EIT
• 3+ years of technical engineer and design experience specific to water/wastewater municipal projects (main force, gravity systems, pump stations, etc.)
• Experience with Civil3D
