    NLine Energy seeks to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support and expand project development efforts.

    NLine is developing the largest portfolio of small thermal and hydroelectric projects under one megawatt globally.

    We provide a turnkey solution, managing all aspects of the project from design, technology assignment, financing to implementation and post commissioning services.

    Senior Mechanical Engineer

    Primary Duties:

    Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will coordinate and manage all aspects of the Company's mechanical engineering design and development.

    We are searching for a self-motivated senior mechanical engineer with a proven record of excellent project delivery to lead several company projects.

    Responsibilities will include working alongside other professionals to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with external stakeholders, attending meetings, using AutoCAD software to produce detailed designs, and ensuring all projects remain within budgetary and time constraints.

    To be successful as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you should keep abreast of developments in your field and outside of your discipline.

    Exceptional senior mechanical engineers should constantly be upskilling themselves and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You should demonstrate the ability to make decisions in highly fluid situations based on experience and effective problemsolving.

    Most importantly, you should have a natural curiosity, be customer-focused, espouse team over self, and possess a growth mindset and unwavering integrity.


    Skills/Attributes:

    Specific skills and attributes include 1) Mechanical (thermodynamic) engineering design for energy recovery projects; 2) analyzing data and writing reports; 3) Effective problem framing and coming up with designs to solve them; 4) implementing and executing quality control engineering best practices and procedures; 5) Implementing design process improvements; 6) conducting Research and Development activities; 7) preparing, managing and updating schedules; 8) attending meeting and field site visits and/or site visit and inspection activities; 9) Excellent written and oral communication and coordination with stakeholders, including staff, directors, and clients.

    The candidate will be able to quickly learn and successfully use Salesforce, Redshift, MS Word, Excel, Project, and Access software programs.

    Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is required.

    Desired Experience:

    5-15 years of Mechanical Engineering design of complex power generation projects with a particular focus on thermodynamics (steam systems).

    3-5 years of project management, preferably with clean or renewable energy projects.

    Required Minimum Education and Certifications:
    Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university.

    Desired Education, Certifications and Skills:
    Professional Engineering License

    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

    Solidworks and AutoCAD experience

    Expected travel:
    up to 25-percent

    The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a full-time position.
