    Program Director (Tour Director)

    Grand Circle Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead our escorted tours in the American West. As a Tour Director, you will be responsible for delivering an unforgettable experience to our travelers.

    We are the largest American direct marketer for international travel, adventure, and discovery for Americans aged 50 plus. With over 1 million travelers served since 1958, we have a reputation for excellence in providing unique experiences.

    Job Responsibilities

    • In charge of the quality of the entire program and to deliver an unforgettable experience to the travelers.
    • Distribute all necessary information about the destination/program/schedule.
    • Understand the expectations of the travelers and focus on their enjoyment of the trip.
    • Reconfirm every service with vendors.
    • Represent GCT to maintain a cordial and formal relationship with our vendors.

    Working Conditions

    You will be working with various destinations in the American West, including The Grand Canyon, Bryce & Zion National Parks, Cody, Yellowstone & Jackson Hole, and more.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience guiding tours in the above destinations.
    • PASSION for the destinations, its people, culture, and traditions.
    • Ability to connect travelers with locals beyond the touristy destinations.
    • Knowledge of the history, everyday life, nature, and culture of the destinations.
    • Flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to make quick decisions to address last-minute changes.

    What We Offer

    A competitive hourly rate and overtime pay, with opportunities for additional income through gratuity and incentives. Salary: $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience. Gratuity: $245-$350 per day (average group size: 35 pax). Incentive: Up to 40% of the base salary upon achieving Excellence goals.
