Our client is a government body located in Campbell, CA looking to hire an experienced Staff Accountant (Senior Account Clerk).

This job is temp to hire or perm for the right candidate.

LOCATION:
100% onsite in Campbell

DURATION:
Temp to Hire or Direct Hire

PAY:
$ $45.00

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
Performs a variety of support functions including data entry, record keeping, proofreading and report generation.
Manage general accounting for payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets.
Prepares, maintains, and verifies accounting, financial and statistical records.
Gathers, assembles, enters, checks, balances, adjusts, and records financial data.
Codes entries according to established accounting procedures.
Resolve discrepancies and maintains various files and records.
Receives payments, issues receipts, deposits payments and applies cash to accounts.
Managing aging schedule and perform collection duties.
Process employee requests for reimbursements and advances
Manage and execute payroll deductions, garnishments, union dues and pension benefits.
Reconcile statements and ledgers.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
