Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for proposal writing, supporting marketing initiatives, strengthening company brand standards, and digital engagement initiatives across Coast's business lines and internal communications.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Creating persuasive RFx and sales proposal documents to support Coast's business growth.
• Developing multimedia content aligned with Coast's brand for internal and client-facing audiences.
• Writing and contributing to whitepapers, sell sheets, and other long-form marketing content.
• Writing and contributing to internal and external email campaigns and newsletters.
• Developing internal and external video content consistent with Coast's messaging and brand.
• Developing and executing outbound email campaigns to clients and prospects.
• Creating and submitting press releases and public relations efforts.
• Contributing to social media messaging, content creation, scheduling, and tracking.
• Supporting and updating company website content.
• Reviewing and researching the competitive landscape to inform strategy and generate new ideas.
• Coordinating client satisfaction surveys.
• Other marketing assignments as required.
• Sharing or dividing the aforementioned marketing responsibilities with peers, under the direction of the Director of Marketing.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in English literature, marketing/advertising, business administration, or related field required. Equivalent work experience in similar position may be substituted for educational requirement.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years of marketing experience, three (3) years preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Principles and practices of marketing and business writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment.
• Establish a good working relationship with team members and internal contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to comply with rules, regulations, laws and methods as related to debt collection.
• Work independently in the absence of immediate supervision.
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
• May be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.
• Travel may be involved and required.

Clearance: As a federal contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information. The background investigation is conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and is an evaluation of the whole person to determine suitability. This also includes securing your desk and workstation when you are not there. This includes locking your session and putting sensitive paperwork away when not physically at your desk. The physical security of our offices of are equal importance, never shadow or let someone shadow your entry into a Coast Professional, Inc. facility.
