    Duration: 10 Months+

    • Coordinate and ensure the effective maintenance, execution and implementation of the (CLIENT) Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) plan, aligning with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC's) data modernization initiatives.
    a. Facilitate regular meetings with CLIENT DMI Advisory Council to review progress, including drafting of agendas, minutes, etc.
    b. Set work priorities within the Product of the CLIENT DMI plan.
    c.

    Regularly enhance and update the plan for integration and transformation with diverse inputs and collaboration with local health districts and central office stakeholders.

    d. Develop and monitor action tracker to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
    e.

    Work with DMI Advisory Council to ensure that personnel are assigned to assure timely execution of deliverables in the DMI plan.


    • Ensure the DMI Plan is well communicated to internal and external stakeholders using a variety of strategies (e.g. internal website, webinars, progress updates, etc.)
    • Ensure that the CLIENT DMI plan aligns with CDC Public Health Data Strategy and/or federal Data Modernization Initiatives, as appropriate.
    • Inform decisions regarding budgeting and financial management for informatics initiatives, to ensure DMI components are sufficiently resourced, as possible.
    • Conduct research to assess the impact of data modernization activities, informing continuous improvement and aligning with the agency-wide strategy for data management and governance. This research will support the agile, strategic direction of CLIENT s modernization efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making and public health action are enhanced through the development of a modernized, sustainable data infrastructure.
