Material Processor | Michigan City, IN

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Starting Pay: $16/$18.50 per hour depending on shift.

Shift(s): 1st/2nd Shift - Monday to Friday – Possible weekend OT**Must train on 1st shift**

Requirements & Skills:

·Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and sit/stand for long periods of time.

·High School Diploma or GED required.

·Basic reading skills necessary to perform the functions of the job.

·Basic computer skills required.

·2 years of previous forklift experience required.

·Must be able to read work instructions.

·Detail oriented.

Primary Duties Include:

Inventory Accuracy Initiative—ongoing transfer and delivery of material in a safe and efficient manner to provide efficient operations within all departments.
Internal Cycle Counting/Inventory Management—target of 98% accuracy to avoid physical inventory errors and outages within the position's control.
Line Stocking as necessary to avoid production inefficiencies.
Support raw material and finished goods movement.
Support finished goods movement and delivery where needed.
Tag painted units as required.
