    Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for an Engineer Project Manager *for a * 12 month + Contract to Hire opportunity.

    The position supports the Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions within a Class III Medical Device manufacturing environment. Will be working with Operations and Management Teams to effectively implement Engineering and Process changes to support project goals.

    Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

    Directing Project Engineers / Project Coordinators to support the execution of projects for new and sustaining engineering changes.

    The position will be required to interface with many cross-functional stakeholders to develop the appropriate timelines and ensure the Production teams can successfully execute on projects and production.

    Will develop and direct project resources.
    Will periodically provide progress report to other functional areas of the company affected by the project.
    Will monitor and control project timelines, costs, and resources, providing development and guidance for assigned Technician/Engineers/Project coordinators.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, Project Management, or a related field.
    Experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting production teams
    PMP certification or equivalent (i.e. PRINCE2) is nice to have
    Knowledge of design control, and change control, in the medical device industry or other regulated environments.
    Experience with lean/Six Sigma process improvements
    Experienced in launching new or updated products, redesigns, line extensions, or maintenance items in a medical device, food, or pharma company
    Experienced in Production Engineering
