About Sterling Vineyards

Internationally known, Sterling Vineyards is one of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley. Modeled after a Greek monastery, the winery sits 300 feet above the valley floor where visitors take an aerial tram to access the top-quality Bordeaux varietals and majestic 360-degree views of Napa Valley. Closed in September 2020 following the Glass Fire that affected much of the area, Sterling reopened to guests in October 2023 complete with a new gondola system, re-imagined visitor spaces and a fresh take on Napa Valley hospitality.

About the role

Sterling Vineyards seeks a Shipping and Receiving Associate to provide support to wine supply, inventory and retail in hospitality areas at the Winery as well as carrying out instructions and duties required for shipping and receiving of wine, merchandise and supplies for the hospitality site.

Responsibilities

• Manage wine inventory and updating library inventory counts daily
• Receive wine and order supplies into the winery site inventory
• Facilitate shipments to customers
• Verify incoming wine shipments
• Execute the transfer of wine between the retail operations sites
• Maintain and stocks retail floor and storage room in an efficient and orderly manner
• Operate cash registers and handle cash accurately
• Assist customers by bringing wine and merchandise to their vehicles
  Forklift Operation (Training and Certification will be provided)

About you

• You have strong computer skills
• You can work in multiple platforms such as Ship Compliant and Fed-Ex shipping programs or similar programs
• You are Proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook
• You have strong customer service skills. organizational skills and can prioritize and multitask
• You can work extended hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidays
• You can lift 50lbs
• You must be 21 years or older

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $21 to $26 per hour and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Calistoga, CA location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
