Summary

Repairs and maintains air compressors, boilers, piping, mechanical and structural welding, and mechanical refurbishment of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains air compressors

Repairs and maintains boilers

Repairs and maintains piping Performs mechanical and structural welding Performs mechanical refurbishment of equipment

Performs air wash and boiler chemical treatments

Performs minor sprinkler modifications

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The following items are required PPE for this position: Leather Boots, Safety Glasses, and Uniforms.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
