    • Implement facility rules and regulations in all areas of the Wellness Center Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and machines.
    • Promote Wellness Center programs Provide prompt, friendly, and professional answers to questions posed by our customers.
    • Find coverage for any assigned shift that you may not be able to work.
    • Provide a spot for persons lifting when necessary
    • Ensure members are re-racking weights and wiping down machines
    • Keep the Fitness Center's equipment and accessories neat, organized, and clean
    • Provide first aid when necessary.
    • Ability to learn how to set-up and break-down of equipment used in the Wellness Center.
    • Must be available for morning, late night, and weekend shifts including breaks and holidays.
    • Wear appropriate attire (including staff shirts) for all shifts.
    • Ability to work with people and follow directions
    • May require heavy lifting
    • Must be willing to perform custodial/maintenance duties
    • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager, Coordinator, Assistant Director, and/or Director of the Wellness Center.
    • Cash handling may be required at times.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Good communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    One or more years of experience in a wellness/recreation setting
