    Are you passionate about fostering a culture of safety and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic organization?

    Our client is seeking a Director of Operational Safety Performance & Improvement to play a pivotal role in designing and leading programs to enhance safety culture and drive continual improvement in operational systems for rail passengers and employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and lead innovative safety programs tailored to evolving operational needs
    • Provide regular updates on safety performance and improvements to executive leadership
    • Oversee the implementation of Safety Programs and other initiatives
    • Take ownership of special projects identified by the Executive team
    • Foster constructive working relationships with leadership and management
    • Lead annual safety and environment engagement events

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Leadership experience in a rail or aviation organization
    • Degree in Safety or related field
    • Strong understanding of safety culture and regulatory requirements
    • Experience in project management and negotiation
    • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software

    Preferred:

    • PMP certification
    • Experience with MS Project, Comply 365, Power BI, MS Visio, Coruson, TRMS

    Location: Boston, US

    Compensation: $160k - $180k depending on experience, up to 10% bonus and generous benefits package. Our client is also able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
