    Job Title: Workers' Compensation Coordinator

    Company: Dedicated to Providing Quality Care

    JOB PURPOSE AND MISSION: Coordination, administration, and oversight of the company's self-insured workers' compensation program. Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation related to workers' compensation.

    JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintaining files and records on all Employee Reports of Occupational Injury or Disease.
    • Monitoring record-keeping compliance and providing advice on workers' compensation policies and procedures.
    • Liaising with attorneys, external agencies, and regulatory bodies in claims administration.
    • Performing other assigned duties.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two years' experience in workers' compensation administration. Experience with self-insured workers' compensation plans is highly desirable.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

    SPECIAL SKILLS, LICENSES, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent computer skills.
    • Knowledge of workers' compensation legislation, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with independent judgment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of administrative hearings and litigation processes.
    • Skills in implementing return-to-work programs and records maintenance.

    HIPAA REQUIREMENTS: Adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations.

    SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Adherence to all safety practices relevant to the job position.
