    • Development Controls & Electrical Engineering /Full Time /On sitePosition SummaryWe are seeking an electrical engineer passionate about electrical design and automation who will contribute significantly to the development of our advanced cell therapy manufacturing platform.
    The primary focus of this position will be electrical design of industrial manufacturing equipment.

    Development tasks may include component selection, electrical interconnect and schematic design including DC and AC circuits, printed circuit board design, breadboarding, implementation, and testing.

    You will interface across many parts of the company to develop novel products used in the cell therapy and gene therapy world, and will have the opportunity to grow your career under the mentorship of a top-notch cross-functional engineering team.

    ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the electrical design of complex automation equipmentDesign power and signal distribution throughout industrial equipment using electrical panels, cables, PCBs, and off-the-shelf assembliesCreate detailed schematics and electrical drawings for electrical designsAssist with the development of functional requirements and specifications Design and implement test benches for characterization of hardwareParticipate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices Collaborate with controls, mechanical, systems, and software engineersRequirementsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of experience, or a Masters degreeExperience working on a project incorporating electrical and mechanical components and general exposure to different types of sensors and actuatorsSolid understanding of AC and DC power distribution, signal and control theory, and digital and analog electronicsHands-on experience in digital and analog electronic circuit design, troubleshooting, and testingFamiliar with digital communication mediums such as Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 and how they work at a physical level Proficient with standard electrical test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, etcAbility to build prototypes, construct electrical panels, perform wiring and cable routingSome experience with a programming language such as Python, C# or C Self-awareness, integrity, authenticity, and a growth/entrepreneurial mindsetPreferred Skills/ExperienceExperience with EDA or CAD software such as EPLAN, Zuken, OrCAD, Altium, etcExposure to 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360$90,000 - $210,000 a yearCellares total compensation package contains competitive base salaries, highly subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, 401(k) Matching, Free EV Charging, Onsite lunches, and Stock options.
