- Assist Electrician and Technicians with routine electrical installations and checkout on a variety of electrical systems utilizing codes, company procedures, schematics, and/or engineering drawings
- Assists with installing raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.
- Assists with mounting and terminating controls equipment as needed.
- Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments as needed
- Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or engineering drawings.
- Possesses working knowledge of local electrical codes.
- Experienced in scope determination of installation materials.
- Able to work independently.
- Experience working with electrical systems for HVAC equipment or control systems

Job DescriptionSalary: Pay grade: 165We are seeking an Electrical Helper to join our federal team based at Fort Stewart and the Hunter Army Airfield location near Savannah, GA (military experience encouraged, but not required) supporting long-term energy efficiency and sustainability projects, primarily related to HVAC, HVAC controls (DDC controls), BAS, metering, electrical and utilities systems.

We help modernize U.S. military installations, Department of Defense and other federal agency facilities to be smarter, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure.
Pay Rate: $ $23.00 per hour. Negotiable based on experience
Shift: Primarily works first shift/day shift hours, Monday-Friday
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment
Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks of paid time of in total)
Travel Required: None, all work is based at this location.
